Terms and Conditions

  • All quotations expire after 60 days from the date of the original quotation and no later than December 31 of that year, unless indicated otherwise. As material is being specifically ordered or allocated for your sales order and being held until your required delivery date, a deposit of 50% is required to process your order. The balance of all unshipped material is due for payment 60 days after order date. Material can be held until shipment is required. Every attempt will be made to ship and complete the order within the client’s schedule. Hughes Plumbing Supply will not be responsible for deliveries that are late due to circumstances beyond our control. Consult with your builder and or sales associate in regards to lead times and delivery schedule. Lead times and delivery dates for material not in stock are only estimates and will vary and be subject to change.  Hughes Plumbing Supply will not accept penalties or charge backs for late deliveries. Material will only be delivered on accounts that paid according to terms.

    Delivery charges are predicated on the number of actual shipments and requested types of services by the client, and the shipping charges will vary from the initial estimates amount. Additional delivery charges, if necessary, will be billed to the client account and will be paid either by billing or check. All of our products are building materials and will be considered final sales. Returns will be considered by Hughes Plumbing Supply only at our discretion, and within our guidelines and may be accepted only in accordance with our terms and conditions. Material that is accepted for return may be assessed with substantial restocking or handling charges. Custom, special order, or non-stock items cannot be returned under any circumstances.

    All material is sold in good faith from reputable and quality vendors and manufacturers. Products that are deemed to be defective or improperly manufactured will be replaced as soon as possible.  Hughes Plumbing Supply will not be responsible for labor to replace these items. As these items are all building materials, the client should verify the specifications and job conditions for all materials with their installer prior to purchase. It is also the client’s responsibility to verify whether the goods ordered are required and conform to local building code requirements. Hughes Plumbing Supply does not categorically assure that all products conform to local codes. Local taxes will be added to all sales order and will be based on the prevailing tax rate at the time of the delivery, regardless when the transaction was initiated.

    The client will have 48 hours from the time of delivery to make claims for shortages or damages. Claims must be made in writing via email within that time frame. Hughes Plumbing Supply will not be responsible for shortages or damages on the client premises. No claims will be accepted after that time. Lost or missing parts from items may require payment depending on the vendor policies.
